Fillmore Height Limits Rules (2026): What You Need to Know

Fillmore regulates fences through both zoning standards in Title 6 and specific fence-related provisions in Title 11.08. In residential zones, front yard fences are generally restricted to 3–4 feet in height to maintain open sightlines and neighborhood character. Side and rear yard fences may be up to 6 feet tall. Corner lot properties must maintain visibility triangles near intersections, which may further restrict fence height and placement near street corners.
